WHAT IS A

Client Closet?

I have carefully curated a collection of gowns and pieces that are beautiful, unique, size inclusive and that photograph well.

In an effort to help provide the best experience possible for my clients, I offer (and encourage) the option to choose a piece from my collection to wear to your session.

Finding the perfect outfit for photos can be stressful and expensive. Why spend the time and money on finding and purchasing something you'll probably only wear once?

Below are just a few examples of some of the stunning pieces in action.

Frequently Asked

Questions

CarolineAustinPhotographyDraft2-10.png

How do I know if you are the right photographer for me?

If you feel a connection to my work and my style resonates with you.

If you are looking for emotive, creative and artistic photos that feel raw and genuine. If you aren't a smiling and looking at the camera type.

If you think you would vibe with someone who is laidback and approachable.

Can you photoshop my body?

I believe in capturing your authentic self, just as you are, so I do not alter your physical appearance, aside from removing minor, impermanent blemishes.

How long will it take to get my final images?

Your gallery of edited images will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after your session, unless otherwise stated.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Photography is an investment and I am happy to create a schedule of smaller payments to make that investment more manageable! Contact me for more details.

I don't live near the Triangle but I'd love to work with you - can I still book you?

YES! I love exploring and photographing in new places and would love to do a session with you wherever you are.

I do charge a travel fee, so the standard IRS milage rate would be added to your session fee. Reach out and I'll get you a quote for your location.

What is a Cyanotype?

Cyanotypes are made by hand through a historical, alternative printing process in which light sensitive chemicals are painted onto paper, a negative of an image is placed on top of the now light sensitive paper, and both are placed under glass and finally exposed to sunlight or UV light. The result is a one of a kind, archival, blue toned print.

In other words it's a unique, handmade print that you receive when you book a storytelling session.

What can I do to prepare for my session?

First things first, before you inquire, make sure you have looked at my work and would be happy to receive photos consistent with what you've seen.

Once you've booked I will send over some guides with helpful info; make sure you have read these guides and have shared the contents with other session participants.
